Production Support Engineer

The Production Support Engineer ensures reliable production operations by maintaining networking equipment, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and supporting IT infrastructure in collaboration with global teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

 

  • Deploy and maintain enterprise-level networking equipment (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) to support production needs.
  • Repair, identify problems, analyze product anomalies, and accurately respond to product-related anomaly analysis according to customer requirements and company policies.
  • Various aspects of maintenance testing such as usability, hardware or software impact, error and bug finding, regression testing and implementation scenarios.
  • Track issues, solutions, and bug fixes during maintenance and build a comprehensive repository of defects and successful mitigation techniques.
  • Debug procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates according to customer requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Taiwan headquarters RMA team on software and hardware repair for production requirement
  • Support networking equipment rework when necessary, coordinating closely with the manufacturing team
  • Provide onsite IT support for infrastructure and equipment (including servers, factory systems, and related hardware)
  • Travel domestically as required
  • Introduction of new products and planning related production processes
  • Product heavy engineering related technical support
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in Troubleshooting and Technical Support
  • Proficiency in Information Technology and Networking
  • Knowledge of Network Security protocols and practices
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with AI/ML hardware and open networking solutions is a plus

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus

Travel Demands:

Ability to work effectively on-site in Irvine, CA, or Dallas, TX in the future.
