Instructional Staff

STEM Pathway Instructor:  

Instructional Staff are responsible for the direct facilitation and delivery of the specialized curriculum. They must ensure that daily lessons are executed with high fidelity while maintaining a safe, engaging, and hands-on learning environment. They are the frontline observers for the "Student Experience," providing critical feedback to program.

Cybersecurity Instructor

STEM Pathway Instructors serve as the front-line resource and a direct conduit to high-growth career opportunities for North Las Vegas youth. These instructors are more than teachers; they are critical mentors and industry liaisons who bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.

Must be proficient with and have valid certifications in the following:

Linux+

Network+

Security+ 

Deliverables

• Execute the daily curriculum for their assigned rotation.
• Evaluate pupils not just on grades, but on "Coachability" and "Curiosity" to identify candidates for the long-term Academy.
• Responsible for the physical safety of students (especially during Drone flight) and the security of hardware/tech assets.
• Treat all facilities and technology with due care. Must ensure proper use of the Drone Soccer Arena and exercise due caution with drone technology
• (Exploration Instructors) Evaluate pupils on potential to identify candidates for the long-term Academy

While we welcome CPT/OPT candidates with high technical proficiency, preference will be given to applicants with strong ties to the North Las Vegas community and a deep understanding of the local entrepreneurial landscape.
