Fine Arts Teacher - Instrumental Music (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR) 

SUMMARY 

Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • Arizona Elementary Certificate with Music Approved Area OR Music K-12 Endorsement OR Arizona Middle Grades Certificate with Music K-12 Endorsement OR Arizona Secondary Certificate with Music K-12 Endorsement OR Arizona Arts Education - Music PreK-12 Certificate
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 

  • Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement  

COMMENTS 

Salary Range $48,400.00 to $54,900.00

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR 

LOCATION: Lawrence 3-8 School - Jeffrey Rd & Mark Rd Area 

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day Work Calendar: 9.5 month
