Fiber Optics Lab Intern
We're hiring an Electrical Engineering Lab Intern to work with our Optical Fiber team. This role is located at our Innovation Center in Tinley Park, that features 18 cutting-edge laboratories and a state-of-the-art rapid modeling tool room - all dedicated to helping you turn ideas into impactful reality.
What You Will Do
- Work on lab related testing of new products.
- Coordinate with Product Management to create specifications for new products with customer input.
- Provide engineering support for existing product lines by responding to customer technical inquiries, addressing quality concerns, ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance, handling product application issues/questions, collaborating with manufacturing cells to improve efficiency or lower production costs, and providing general technical support to handle the day-to-day business needs.
What You Will Bring
- Pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering.
- Background or interest in Optical Engineering/Fiber Optics.
- Ability to work in groups, multitask, problem solve, prioritize, and exercise critical thinking skills.
- Experience using test equipment a plus.

Pay rates for this role start at $21.25/hr.
