Patent Trademark Paralegal

Responsibilities:

* Managing file status, tracking due dates, filing official documents.

* Producing information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics; coordinating case preparation.

* Conserving attorney's time by reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; organizing client conferences.

* Representing attorney by communicating and obtaining information; following-up on delegated assignments; knowing when to act and when to refer matters to attorney.

Requirements:

Strong organizational skills; strong writing and grammatical skills; data entry accuracy; PC proficiency; verbal communication; attention to detail; strong clerical skills; willingness to learn patent and trademark law. Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution required.
