Administrative Assistant-Construction

Position Summary:  Oversees all administrative duties for the assigned supervisor.  Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company that promote TP Mechanical and represents the organization in a professional manner.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Handles all administrative tasks for the assigned supervisor/Project Manager.
  • Ensures all project paperwork is processed accurately and timely in accordance with company procedures.
  • Keeps an organized and updated electronic filing system.  Keeps all items filed in an organized manner.
  • Develops and processes any needed reports for Project Managers and/or division heads.
  • Sets up and updates Operation and Maintenance Manuals as needed.
  • Ensures proper and timely job close-outs.
  • Notary a plus.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

 Qualifications and Experience:

 Experience/Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 2 years prior Administrative Assistant experience preferably in a construction environment.

 Job Skills:     

  • Knowledge of Windows based software (Excel, Word, Power Point) and any e-mail system.
  • Good math ability.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to type a minimum of 40 WPM.

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some business or administrative courses helpful.
