Administrative Assistant-Construction
Position Summary: Oversees all administrative duties for the assigned supervisor. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company that promote TP Mechanical and represents the organization in a professional manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Handles all administrative tasks for the assigned supervisor/Project Manager.
- Ensures all project paperwork is processed accurately and timely in accordance with company procedures.
- Keeps an organized and updated electronic filing system. Keeps all items filed in an organized manner.
- Develops and processes any needed reports for Project Managers and/or division heads.
- Sets up and updates Operation and Maintenance Manuals as needed.
- Ensures proper and timely job close-outs.
- Notary a plus.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience/Qualifications Required
- Minimum 2 years prior Administrative Assistant experience preferably in a construction environment.
Job Skills:
- Knowledge of Windows based software (Excel, Word, Power Point) and any e-mail system.
- Good math ability.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to type a minimum of 40 WPM.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Some business or administrative courses helpful.
