Marketing Associate

Stash is a small, women-owned company. Our leather goods are designed and built in Houston, TX by our team of women builders. Every bag is made by hand. Our mission is to embrace mindful production by building heritage goods for modern life. We are collectors of materials, using unique leathers and vintage textiles to create functional artisan goods. As a company, we value community, storytelling, and exceptional quality.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Associate. Our ideal candidate is a creative individual who is passionate about storytelling and excited to participate in the slow fashion industry. As a small company, each team member supports needs across departments. Working at Stash includes occasional weekend events and a team-first mindset. Core Responsibilities

  • Generate content and graphic assets for social media channels
  • Plan and publish content across channels, including maintaining a monthly content calendar
  • Manage social media engagement and generate monthly reports
  • Create a social media plan in partnership with Sales and Production
  • Use social media platforms to curate a brand identity and tell stories about our company and products
  • Generate and manage weekly email marketing content (light copy and send coordination)
  • Pitch in on weekends and during events to work the sales floor when needed in both Houston, TX and Round Top, TX

What Success Looks Like (first 60–90 days)

  • Establish a consistent posting cadence and content calendar
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting with clear insights and next-step recommendations
  • Build a repeatable process for capturing content in the workshop and at events

Relevant Skills

  • Graphic design and basic layout
  • Photography and short-form video capture, editing
  • Writing and editing, including brand voice consistency
  • Time management, teamwork, customer service, and creative problem solving

Nice to Have

  • Experience with small brands or retail, including in-person events
  • Basic understanding of paid social and boosting posts
  • Comfort being on camera and guiding others during shoots
  • Experience with advertising and knowledge of how to boost brand visibility

  • Canva, Klaviyo
  • Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator

Location: Houston, TX (with occasional travel to Round Top, TX)

Schedule: 30-40 hours a week (M-F, occasional weekends for events) starting in June ‘26
