Clinical Registered Dietitian
Clinical Registered Dietitian Qualifications: Must be a Registered Dietitian in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Must be a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist for the State of Pennsylvania. Extensive experience with enteral nutrition. Experience with IDD population a plus. Skills: Must be able to work in a diverse work environment. Must be willing to travel to sites within the Delaware and Philadelphia counties. Must be able to train staff and conduct skill assessments related to dining and meal times, as well as specific trainings for individuals as they happen. Must work closely with the Interdisciplinary Team and attend meetings and provide a report. Team includes Nursing, Physicians, Administration, Direct Support Staff, Residential Staff, OT, PT, and Speech therapies, and Families. Work with Adaptive Equipment Specialist to order needed feeding equipment and maintain a dietary file for each individual. Placemats need to be kept up to date and distributed to appropriate staff, including Day Program. Must maintain excellent organizational skills and have all assessments done in a timely manner according to regulations. Need to be able to prioritize and address problems based on level of severity. Must have excellent assessment skills and understanding of disease processes, lab values, and skin issues. Willingness to take courses as needed to advance assessment skills. Very good communication and people skills. Understanding or willingness to learn the rules and regulations of ICF/MRstate and local ordinances. Coordination with Food Service and writing new menu cycles at least every 3 years. Training to follow new menu cycles. Coordination with Residential and Operations staff to develop menus and shopping lists
