Campaign Finance Internship (NY)  – von Nida Consulting

We are seeking candidates to join a Democratic political consulting and fundraising firm as a Campaign Finance Intern. This is a paid, in-person internship that is expected to begin May 2026 and will end August 2026. Interns must be able to work from our office in New York City.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and prospect current and potential donors
  • Assist campaign staff at fundraising events as needed
  • Manage and navigate fundraising tools like NGP and ActBlue
  • Draft event and meeting memoranda
  • Use Excel, Word, and Google Suite to organize data
  • Update and maintain relevant documents and financial trackers

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student at an accredited college/university majoring in international studies/relations, political science, public policy, or a related field
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, three in-person days
  • Demonstrated interest in politics and/or government
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Minimum wage
