Richner Communications, Inc. produces hyperlocal news across 27 editions of the Herald Community Newspapers, online at LIHerald.com, through daily and weekly email newsletters, and across social media platforms—reaching a combined audience of hundreds of thousands each week.
As one of the fastest-growing multi-media and communications companies on Long Island, Richner Communications, Inc. (RCI) is seeking motivated, driven Multi-Platform Sales Executive to partner with local businesses and help them grow through innovative, results-focused advertising and marketing solutions across print, digital, events, and social platforms.
In this role, you will work directly with companies in your assigned territory to develop strategic marketing campaigns utilizing RCI’s diverse portfolio of products, including digital advertising, print advertising, event sponsorships, direct mail, email marketing, and more. Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business within an established territory
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts
- Present and explain advertising products, services, and rate structures
- Prepare accurate proposals and pricing quotes
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries
- Develop customized, creative marketing solutions tailored to client goals
- Spend significant time outside the office meeting with and prospecting local businesses
- Strategically guide clients in leveraging RCI’s full suite of products to maximize their return on investment
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
Requirements
- Proven success in a sales role preferred (media or advertising experience a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
