Are you a natural problem-solver with a keen eye for detail? Can you spot the one critical piece of information that everyone else missed? The Maryland National Guard is looking for analytical thinkers to become our next generation of Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analysts.

As a 35G, you are the military's "eyes in the sky." You'll transform raw satellite and aerial imagery into clear, actionable intelligence that commanders depend on to make critical decisions. This isn't just about looking at pictures; it's about seeing the unseen and understanding the battlefield in a way no one else can.

An Interest in Technology: You are comfortable with and curious about advanced software, mapping tools, and computer systems.

Patience and Focus: You have the ability to concentrate on a task for extended periods, meticulously searching for critical information.

Clear Communication Skills: You can take complex information and present it clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.

As a GEOINT Analyst, You Will:

Become a Master of Analysis: Analyze high-resolution imagery from satellites and drones to identify enemy forces, equipment, and potential threats.

See the Battlefield Evolve: Conduct change detection to track enemy movements and assess battle damage after an engagement.

Create Critical Intelligence Products: Build maps, 3D models, and detailed reports that guide mission planning and ensure the safety of fellow Soldiers.

Leverage Cutting-Edge Technology: Utilize sophisticated Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and state-of-the-art analytical software to turn data into intelligence.

Develop High-Tech, In-Demand Skills

This isn't just a military job; it's a career accelerator. Through paid training, you will become an expert in:

Advanced Imagery Analysis: Learn to interpret various types of imagery, including infrared and radar.

Geospatial Information Systems (GIS): Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard mapping and data analysis software.

Remote Sensing: Understand the principles of collecting information about the Earth from a distance.

Intelligence Reporting: Master the art of creating precise, effective intelligence products for senior leaders.

Your Future Beyond the Guard

The skills you gain as a 35G are in high demand across both the public and private sectors. Your experience will directly prepare you for lucrative careers with:

Federal Intelligence Agencies: National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), CIA, DIA, NSA, and FBI.

Defense & Tech Companies: Work for contractors and tech firms that support national security.

Civilian Industries: Apply your skills in urban planning, environmental science, resource management, and disaster response.
