Camp Photographer OR Videographer

About the Role
As a Camp Photographer and/or videographer, you’ll play a key role in capturing the energy, spirit, and everyday magic of camp life. As part of our Media Team, you’ll create visual stories through photography and video that families and campers will cherish long after the summer ends.
This role is perfect for someone creative, detail-oriented, and excited to tell meaningful stories through media—while also being an active member of a camper community.
What You’ll Do
- Capture 300+ photos and videos daily across a wide range of camp activities and programs
- Document major camp events (performances, Color War, Shabbat, etc.) through photo and video
- Edit and produce high-quality media content using photo/video editing tools
- Upload and share daily content with families via our camp platform
- Organize and maintain a well-structured media library throughout the summer
- Collaborate on special projects like end-of-session slideshows and camper interviews
- Lead a media elective, teaching campers photography and videography basics
- Support setup and operation of AV equipment for camp-wide programs
Community Responsibilities
- Serve as a cabin counselor during non-program times
- Support camper routines including meals, evening activities, and daily transitions
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all campers
What We’re Looking For
- Experience or strong interest in photography, videography, or media production
- Comfort using cameras and editing software (or willingness to learn)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to balance creative work with hands-on camper engagement
- Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and adaptable
