Extended Care Teacher

C’E Montessori is seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging Extended Care Teacher to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Compensation:
$25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely pick up children from nearby PS84 and escort them back to campus
• Supervise and support children during snack time
• Assist specialist teachers (e.g., enrichment classes) for approximately one hour
• Set up and lead engaging activities for children between 5:00–6:00 PM
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for all children

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children (preschool/elementary age preferred)
• Responsible, punctual, and organized
• Warm, patient, and able to manage small groups of children
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
