Project Coordinator Intern
Overview
As a Project Coordinator Intern, you’ll support active construction and facilities projects from behind the scenes. Working closely with experienced project managers and coordinators, you’ll assist with planning activities, meeting documentation, progress tracking, and vendor coordination. This is an ideal opportunity for students or recent grads in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Business to translate academic knowledge into real-world skills and develop a foundational understanding of project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing project schedules, task trackers, and milestone updates
- Prepare meeting agendas, capture discussion notes, and follow up on action items
- Help compile reports and logs used by clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Shadow communications with architects, contractors, and consultants
- Support procurement tasks and vendor coordination logistics
- Learn to interpret basic project scopes and documentation formats
- Observe budget and invoice tracking procedures with guidance
- Participate in team discussions and gain exposure to project tools and processes
Requirements
Education
- Current student or recent graduate (Associate’s or Bachelor’s level) in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Business Administration
Experience
- Academic projects, capstone courses, or part-time experience involving planning or coordination preferred
- Interest in learning about construction, real estate development, or facilities management

Logistics

- Compensation: $20.00/hour
- Hours 8 AM - 5PM
- Hybrid setting of office & client site - must be able to provide reliable transportation
