Scientist/Engineer - Test & Systems Analysis

Location: Wallops Island, VA

About the Role

We’re looking for a scientist or engineer to support the testing, evaluation, and analysis of complex Navy systems. In this role, you’ll help plan and execute tests, analyze system performance, investigate anomalies, and collaborate with experienced engineers and scientists on real-world programs.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale systems, live test events, and real engineering challenges that directly support national defense.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with system-level testing, including test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Analyze performance data using a variety of tools
  • Help identify, document, and investigate software or system issues
  • Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review requirements and provide feedback
  • Support land-based and at-sea test events
  • Help improve test processes and automation efforts
  • Travel occasionally to test sites, shipyards, or aboard naval platforms
