Logistics Operations & Data Tracking Intern

Global Express Connections LLC is seeking a Logistics Operations & Data Tracking Intern to support operational systems, data tracking, and coordination processes across heavy haul, infrastructure, and transportation support operations.

This role focuses on maintaining structured tracking systems, organizing operational data, and supporting coordination workflows tied to carrier outreach, escort logistics, and pipeline visibility.

The intern will contribute directly to system accuracy, operational efficiency, and internal infrastructure development, supporting both active coordination and future government contracting readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Maintain and update tracking systems in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel  
– Monitor outreach and pipeline data for accuracy and completeness  
– Organize and structure contact databases and operational records  
– Track load coordination activity, scheduling updates, and movement status  
– Support internal reporting and visibility across operations  
– Assist in building dashboards and tracking tools for operational performance  
– Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all operational tracking systems – Support refinement of internal workflows and operational processes

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
This is a project-based internship designed to provide hands-on experience in building real-world operational systems and logistics tracking infrastructure.

This role provides direct exposure to transportation coordination operations, logistics systems, and scalable operational infrastructure within a compliance-driven environment.

COMPENSATION & PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
– Hourly pay: $15–$20 per hour  
– This internship may be eligible for college credit based on your institution’s requirements  
– Performance-based incentives may be offered based on data accuracy, system reliability, and operational contribution  

POSITION DETAILS:
– Position Type: Internship  
– Schedule: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)  
– Location: Hybrid (Sacramento, California + remote flexibility)  
– Duration: Temporary / Seasonal  
– Estimated Start Date: April 14, 2026  
– Estimated End Date: October 15, 2026
