Job description:
The School of Ballet Indiana (SBI), a pre-professional classical ballet program, is seeking a committed Ballet Teacher that is looking to establish roots and invest in and build a reputation in our growing community. We’re looking for someone who loves working with dancers of all ages, values strong technique, and is excited to inspire the next generation of artists.
Starting: Summer 2026, start as soon as available
Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week of dance instruction, including after school, evening hours, Saturday mornings and private lessons by request. There will be opportunities to provide YAGP competition coaching upon request. There is also opportunity to be compensated for assisting with Ballet Indiana productions.
Certifications: All credentials and certifications needed can be provided. Previous PBT/CBT/Pilates certification would be valued but not required. Curriculum will be provided for teaching purposes.
Experience:
Ballet: 1 year (Preferred)
