Pharmacist-in-Charge
Overview
Pharmacy First Health is redefining rural healthcare by transforming community pharmacies into integrated care hubs. We are seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge in San Augustine, TX who is ready to lead with clinical excellence and a deep commitment to serving rural communities. Duties
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Manage the day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory, and workflow.
- Provide exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
- Mentor and manage team members (pharmacist, technicians, interns, etc)
- Implement quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Support business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Wage: $65-$70 per hour
