About This Role
The Sales + Styling Captain is the head host of the store, setting the tone for how we welcome, style, connect, and serve. This person builds relationships that feel genuine and lasting. They care deeply about customers, about team growth, and about creating an environment where people feel seen.
Sales and abundance are the natural outcome of connection done well.
You will partner with the Store Director and Assistant Store Director to nurture both culture and performance, with a strong presence on the sales floor.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Lead the Store's Stylist Program
- Model our 5-Star Hosted Experience every day — greet with warmth, style with intention, serve with care
- Lead our styling program with creativity and confidence
- Help customers discover pieces that truly fit their lives
- Light up when you help someone feel confident in what they're wearing
- Teach the team how to connect before they sell
- Help customers feel known, not processed
Lead Collaborator with the Buyers
- Partner with the buying team to ensure product stories are clear and inspiring
- Maintain communication flow to the buying team through the Listening Line
- Notice trends and opportunities on the floor and bring them back to buying conversations
- Help translate the buyer's vision into a story the sales team can tell
Lead the Sales Training Program
- Own the Fave Babe/VIP Program, Purposeful Parties, and Community Connectivity
- Provide real-time coaching on hospitality, styling, and communication
- Encourage growth while maintaining high standards
- Understand store sales goals and help guide the team toward them through daily connection and intention
- Protect our gossip-free, kind culture
Oversee Visual Victory in Fashion Departments
- Lead Visual Victory — Joyville's merchandising program designed to create an inspiring, beautiful store experience
- Oversee mannequin styling and apparel merchandising across fashion departments
- Maintain backstock standards and apparel flow
- Develop authentic relationships with regulars and new faces
- Support VIP outreach and clienteling in a way that feels personal — not pushy
- Help create in-store experiences that make people want to come back
- Be a visible, welcoming presence in the East Dallas community
