MileHighCook is a private chef and luxury catering brand serving clients across Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Wyoming. We create elevated culinary experiences — from intimate private dinners in Vail to large-scale catered events in Scottsdale — and we're building a social media presence that matches the quality of what comes out of our kitchen.

The Role

We're looking for a hungry (pun intended) content creator intern to help us plan, shoot, and edit short-form video and photo content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You'll be on-site at real events and in working kitchens capturing the energy, craft, and personality behind the brand — then turning that footage into scroll-stopping content.

What You'll Do

  • Shoot video and photo content on-site at private chef events, catering jobs, and in-kitchen prep sessions
  • Edit short-form Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts optimized for each platform
  • Help develop a content calendar and pitch creative concepts that fit the MHC brand voice
  • Assist with behind-the-scenes storytelling — the plating, the process, the team in action
  • Stay current on food content trends, audio trends, and platform algorithm shifts
  • Organize and manage raw footage and a growing media library

What We're Looking For

  • Experience shooting and editing video on a phone or camera (portfolio or sample work required)
  • Familiarity with editing tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar
  • Strong eye for composition, lighting, and pacing — especially in food and lifestyle content
  • Active personal presence on Instagram and/or TikTok; you understand what performs and why
  • Self-starter who can work independently on location without heavy direction
  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable in fast-paced kitchen and event environments
  • Passion for food, hospitality, or culinary arts is a big plus
