Home Support Specialist

ADG Consulting is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Home Support Specialist to support a home management service for residential clients. This role involves traveling to client homes and helping with a variety of day-to-day household needs, such as organizing spaces, coordinating simple tasks, and keeping the home running smoothly. The goal is to create a comfortable, well-maintained living environment tailored to each client’s preferences.

Key Responsibilities 

Housekeeping & Home Upkeep 

  • Perform general housekeeping tasks as needed to support overall home upkeep, including: 
    • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors 
    • Dusting furniture and surfaces 
    • Cleaning kitchens (counters, sinks, appliances, etc.) 
    • Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, mirrors, etc.) 
    • Taking out trash and recycling 
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all assigned spaces 

 Household Management 

  • Support general home organization (tidying rooms, light decluttering) 
  • Help with day-to-day household tasks, such as organizing spaces, keeping track of supplies, and supporting the overall flow of the home  
  • Assist with coordinating household needs when needed, such as scheduling maintenance, handling deliveries, or getting the home ready for service visits  
  • Keep an eye on the overall condition of the home and flag any maintenance issues, low supplies, or safety concerns 

Meal Preparation 

  • Order and coordinate the delivery of groceries and/or supplies 
  • Chop fruits and vegetables, butcher meats, and perform general food prep that would assist the customer in full meal completion 
  • Prepare school lunches and snacks  

Client Communication 

  • Follow client preferences and any customized cleaning instructions home routines to deliver a personalized and consistent experience  
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members 

Daily Operations  

  • Travel to client homes and arrive on time as scheduled 
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns observed in the home 

 

Qualifications 

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, cleaning services, hospitality, or a related field preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills 
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently 
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license 
  • Comfort working in occupied residential environments 
  • Strong sense of professionalism, discretion, and respect for client privacy 

 

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) 

  • Experience working in residential cleaning or hotel housekeeping 
  • Familiarity with eco-friendly or specialized cleaning products 
  • Customer service experience 

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 lbs 
  • Comfortable performing repetitive cleaning tasks
