JOB SUMMARY:

To provide an exceptional shopping experience for every customer and assist store leadership in performing daily operations and objectives of the store. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES:

The below listing of essential and periodic functions is not an inclusive listing of all duties that may be requested to be performed by supervisor or manager.

  • Provide exceptional sales assistance and customer service by acknowledging all customers and being attentive to shopper’s needs. 
  • Stock merchandise and maintain inventory levels in accordance with store processes and procedures.
  • Price and label products in accordance with store processes and procedures.
  • Price and labeling of closeout section in backroom.
  • Price and process products from Shipping/Returns Department.
  • Keyholder – opening and closing duties for weekdays/weekends.
  • Sets zone schedule and duties for team.
  • Ensure fast and accurate service during customer shopping and check-out process.
  • Perform general store maintenance and cleaning as assigned.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in large event sales, including the bi-annual Mason Tent Sale, Black Friday, and Small Business Saturday.
  • Assist in performing annual inventory in accordance with store processes and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of progressively responsible retail experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience strongly preferred.
  • Merchandising experience desired (Floor/Window Displays)

  • Ability to commit to scheduled work hours with a reliable mode of transportation.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels, both inside and outside of the organization
