Human Resources Coordinator

Cheshire Fitness Zone is excited to welcome a Human Resources Coordinator to our team. Our mission is to help children of all ages and abilities reach their fullest potential and we bring that same level of care and commitment to supporting the growth and success of our employees.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the employee experience, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding process for new hires while maintaining accurate, organized, and compliant employee records. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who values discretion, takes pride in their work, and is passionate about supporting both people and organizational success.

Target start date: Mid June 2026

Qualifications: one year (minimum) HR experience; background in healthcare preferred.

Skills: Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills; advanced interpersonal skills; ability to receive direction and work collaboratively with others; proven track record of confidentiality; familiarity with the Microsoft platform; basic understanding of HR functions; knowledge of state and federal employment laws

 

Position responsibilities:

Work with confidential employee-related data

Coordinate and assist with new hire orientations

Maintain employee records for compliance and completion

Assist HR Manger with LOAs, workers' compensation, and employee benefits 

Monitor time and attendance, weekly timecards and PTO requests through ADP

Set up onsite CPR classes for employees as needed

Willingness to learn HR processes and additional responsibilities

Travel between locations as needed and work in an office

Run monthly reports through ADP

Attend staff meetings and weekly HR meetings with HR Manager

30/week full-time
