Salary Range: $45,000–$55,000 annually

Job Summary

The Corporate Communications and Marketing Specialist/Manager at Gray Harbor Capital has a critical role within our boutique real estate investment firm, specializing in single-tenant federal government leased properties. This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated strategies across digital and traditional channels to enhance brand awareness, manage reputation, and drive business goals. Key responsibilities include creating engaging content (like newsletters, social media posts, and press releases), managing digital campaigns (SEO, email, social media), analyzing performance metrics (ROI, KPIs), building media and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring consistent, on-brand messaging for internal and external audiences

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement overarching communication and digital marketing strategies to achieve business goals and build brand awareness. 
  • Content Creation: Craft compelling content for various channels, including digital platforms, social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases. 
  • Digital Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising. 
  • Social Media Management: Design, build, and maintain the company's social media presence, monitor activity, and respond to queries. 
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and communication efforts, using metrics like ROI and KPIs to optimize strategies. 
  • Media & Public Relations: Manage media relations, coordinate interviews, plan press conferences, and respond to media inquiries to shape public perception. 
  • Stakeholder & Partner Relations: Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, partners, and key stakeholders to promote the company. 
  • Crisis Communication: Monitor public sentiment and develop strategies for crisis communication and reputation management. 
  • Internal Communications: Ensure consistent messaging and effective communication across internal teams and with executive leadership. 
  • Budget & Resource Management:  Allocate resources effectively and manage budgets for marketing and communication activities. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field. Knowledge of commercial real estate markets or finance is highly desirable.
  • Experience: 1–5 years of experience in communications, social media management, marketing, or public relations. Experience in small teams or startups is a plus.

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects, coordinate efforts, and meet deadlines. 
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset to develop integrated campaigns that align with business objectives and market trends. 

Work Environment

  • Location: Office-based in Sarasota, FL.
  • Travel: Occasional travel for property visits, investor meetings, or industry events.
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with flexibility for campaign deadlines or events.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $45,000–$55,000 annually, based on experience 
  • Benefits: Health insurance reimbursement, paid time off, with potential for periodic, performance-based bonuses
