Middle School Science Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Level Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for guiding individualized learning that meets the diverse needs of students. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Incorporate hands-on activities and real-world applications.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Facilitate group discussions and encourage critical thinking through subject matter.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and administration to support student success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in areas such as life, earth/space, and physical sciences.
• Scientific Inquiry: Utilizing hands-on activities to help students investigate, rather than just delivering content.
• Experience in behavior management strategies within the classroom setting.
• Proficiency in academic advising and the ability to guide students effectively.
• Willingness to meet the individual needs of students.
• Ability to calculate data for assessments and analyze student performance metrics.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Good communication skills
