Middle School Math Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Level Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for guiding individualized learning that meets the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Incorporate hands-on activities and real-world applications.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate group discussions and encourage critical thinking through subject matter.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and administration to support student success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in areas such as Basic Math, Geometry, Algebra, Financial Literacy.
- Experience in behavior management strategies within the classroom setting.
- Proficiency in academic advising and the ability to guide students effectively.
- Willingness to meet the individual needs of students.
- Ability to calculate data for assessments and analyze student performance metrics.
