Inventory Coordinator

Youngblood Automation, a division of H&P Technologies, is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing accurate receipt, tracking, storage, and movement of inventory. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of incoming materials, maintains inventory integrity, and supports operational efficiency across warehouse, production, and customer fulfillment functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced, technical distribution setting.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Coordinate resolution of discrepancies with purchasing, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP system including quantities, locations, and status (e.g., receipts, transfers, adjustments).
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits. 
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances and discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper labeling, identification, and traceability of parts and components.
  • Support kitting, staging, and internal material requests for production or assembly.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Prior purchasing, inventory or warehouse operations experience is a plus but not required.
  • Associates degree, working towards a degree, or equivalent work experience desired.
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems.
  • Willingness to learn, be coached, and collaborate in a friendly, team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Excel.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical components is a plus.
