Vegetation Maintenance Tech | City of Takoma Park

Mowing, trimming, and edging grass at parks and City owned facilities April-October;

Performing gardening tasks following schedules and project plans including hand weeding, pruning, grooming planting, dividing and transplanting, leaf removal, and mulching;

Performing routine and corrective maintenance on stormwater bioretention facilities;

Using zero turn mowers, push mowers, and mechanical trimming tools;

Using a variety of gardening equipment, hand, and power tools;

Working with a small team to install and water new garden designs;

Responding to citizen’s questions, comments, and concerns, in a professional manor;

Litter Removal;

Clearing snow from sidewalks during snow events.
