Job Description
Full-time, seasonal position responsible for directing the operation(s) of landscape, nursery, and /or maintenance, misc. crew(s) as assigned. Duties include, but are not limited to, competent operation of landscape vehicles, skid steers, power equipment, and any other assigned equipment related to landscape practices. Duties also include manual labor, i.e., physical bending, kneeling, squatting and/or lifting up to 50 lbs. for a variety of tasks. They are also responsible for appearance of assigned contracts, maintenance on equipment, trucks, trailers, and misc. equipment as well as timely completion of assigned paperwork and supervision of labor personnel. The landscape field supervisor must maintain a clean, valid and current class A driver’s license as well as a DOT health card. This position is paid on an hourly basis with vacation, retirement, and bonuses.
Performance Standard
All installation will be performed in a timely and professional manner so as to meet the requirements of the job as outlined by the contract. Unusual situations may be bought to the attention of INSTALLATION MANAGER for resolution. Installation Supervisor ensures all assigned INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS comply with company policies and procedures to include employee handbook, safe operation of tools and equipment, and all other landscaping installation requirements. Valid complaints by either management, customers, or crew members will be the exception–cooperation, production, and customer satisfaction are expected (process outlined in employee handbook). Installation Supervisor sets the standard for all INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS within the assigned crew by example and will be held accountable for the behavior and performance of all in the assigned crew.

Based on the production of the Installation Crew, customer retention, production goals Q.C. reports, paper work, equipment repair cost and overall company success; the Installation Supervisor can receive scheduled or unscheduled bonuses.
