Ecommerce Associate Internship (PAID)

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Merchandising

  • Manage and update product listings, descriptions, pricing, and imagery on Shopify and marketplace channels (Amazon, Zappos, etc.)
  • Ensure product catalog accuracy including inventory availability, sizing, and attributes
  • Support site merchandising — organize collections, featured products, and homepage content
  • Assist with seasonal promotions, sales events, and product launches

 

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Analyze on-site behavior using tools like Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, or Lucky Orange
  • Identify drop-off points in the purchase funnel and recommend improvements
  • Assist with A/B testing on product pages, CTAs, and checkout flows
  • Monitor and report on key eCommerce KPIs: conversion rate, AOV, bounce rate, and cart abandonment

 

Marketplace & Channel Management

  • Support Amazon Seller Central operations including listings, content updates, and inventory management
  • Monitor marketplace reviews, Q&A, and seller metrics
  • Assist with Amazon Sponsored Products campaigns and keyword optimization
  • Research new marketplace opportunities and competitive landscape

 

Customer Experience & Retention

  • Monitor customer reviews and feedback across platforms and surface insights to the team
  • Support post-purchase email flows and loyalty initiatives in Klaviyo
  • Assist with customer service escalations related to orders, returns, and product questions
  • Help develop FAQs, size guides, and on-site content to reduce pre-purchase friction

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–2 years of experience with eCommerce platforms, preferably Shopify or Amazon Seller Central
  • Understanding of the online retail purchase funnel and DTC business models
  • Comfortable working with data — able to pull reports and draw actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail, especially for product content and catalog accuracy
  • Excellent written communication skills for product copy and customer-facing content
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, or related field

 

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify admin, Google Analytics 4, or Amazon Seller Central
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp
  • Basic understanding of SEO for eCommerce (product titles, meta descriptions, keywords)
  • Experience with photo editing or basic graphic tools (Canva, Adobe) for product imagery
