Job Description:
We are seeking 1–2 talented Screenwriting Interns to help develop scripts for a high-performing digital relationship series. This is a unique opportunity for students or emerging writers who understand how to create attention-grabbing, emotionally engaging, viral content for online audiences.

The series is in the relationship drama / cheater investigation space, with episodes averaging around 2-5 million views per episode. Due to the confidential nature of the project, the specific show name will be disclosed only to selected candidates. Finalists will be required to sign an NDA before receiving full project details.

We are looking for writers who know how to craft strong hooks, escalating tension, emotional storytelling, and satisfying payoffs that keep viewers watching.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help write and develop episode scripts for a relationship-based digital series
  • Brainstorm viral story angles, twists, hooks, and scene ideas
  • Assist in shaping stories for maximum audience retention and engagement
  • Write in a style that feels dramatic, fast-paced, and emotionally compelling
  • Collaborate with the creative team on revisions and script improvements
  • Help develop scripts that translate well to YouTube and short-form promotional content

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong writing skills with an interest in screenwriting, entertainment, or digital media
  • Understanding of viral storytelling, internet culture, and audience psychology
  • Ability to write dialogue, conflict, and suspense in an engaging way
  • Interest in reality-style, relationship drama, or emotionally driven content
  • Organized, creative, and open to feedback
  • Film, screenwriting, communications, journalism, media, or related students encouraged to apply

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience writing YouTube scripts, short films, reality-style content, or skits
  • A portfolio, writing samples, or script excerpts
  • Strong instincts for hooks, cliffhangers, and retention-driven storytelling
  • Familiarity with content that performs well on YouTube and social media
