Role Overview
As a UI Design Intern, you’ll work closely with the founding team to help shape the user experience and visual direction of QuickSlot Health’s next generation of products. You’ll play a hands-on role in designing wireframes, building style guides, and creating polished, intuitive interfaces for future-facing healthcare solutions. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to gain experience designing 0-to-1 products in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Wireframing and Mockups: Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interface mockups for new product concepts and features.
• Style Guides and Design Systems: Help build and maintain style guides, UI components, and reusable design patterns to ensure consistency across products.
• Future-Facing Product Design: Explore and design modern, intuitive interfaces for new and emerging healthcare products.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with founders and engineers to translate ideas into user-centered, feasible product experiences.
• Iteration and Feedback: Rapidly refine designs based on feedback, product goals, and evolving user needs.
• Design Research Support: Assist in gathering inspiration, benchmarking competitor experiences, and identifying design opportunities that improve usability and workflow efficiency.
Who You Are
An individual with objectively good taste in design and UI.
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Comfortable creating wireframes, mockups, and visual systems in tools like Figma or similar design platforms.
Strong eye for visual design, consistency, and detail, with an interest in creating clean and intuitive user experiences.
Excited by ambiguity, open to feedback, and eager to contribute to fast-moving, high-visibility projects.
Interested in healthcare, technology, and designing products that solve real operational problems.
