Role Overview
WorldTech IT offers flexibility, focus, and a culture where your teammates are genuine, care for you, and love what they do. The Technical Writer Intern will support our marketing and sales enablement efforts by producing clear, compelling technical content. You'll write everything from technical blogs and solution briefs to battle cards and product documentation. This role is designed as a career pipeline—high performers will grow into Technical Marketing Manager, Enablement Manager, or Content Manager roles. This role will pay $18-22/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
• Write technical blog posts, solution briefs, and product documentation
• Create and update sales enablement materials (battle cards, one-pagers, competitive analyses)
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (engineers, sales leaders) to source content
• Develop and maintain technical content style guide and templates
• Edit and proofread content produced by other team members
• Support the Content/Enablement Manager with content calendar execution
• Research industry topics, vendor products, and competitive landscape to inform content
• Assist with case study development by interviewing customers and drafting narratives
Requirements
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• Strong writing skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with IT/cybersecurity concepts (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
• Experience with WordPress, Google Docs, or content management systems
• Strong Writer — Clear, concise, and accurate in all written communication
• Quick Learner — Can absorb technical concepts rapidly and translate them for different audiences
• Proactive — Identifies content gaps and proposes solutions without being asked
• Collaborative — Comfortable interviewing engineers, salespeople, and executives to source content
• Detail-Oriented — Catches errors, inconsistencies, and formatting issues before publication

• Portfolio of writing samples (academic or professional) preferred.
