Marketing Assistant (Direct Hire)
Location: Neenah, WI Area
Pay: $20-$25/hr. Based on experience
About the Opportunity
An established and growing manufacturing company in the Neenah area is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support its expanding digital and traditional marketing efforts.
This role is heavily focused on digital marketing, content creation, and analytics, while also supporting broader branding and internal initiatives. You’ll work closely with leadership to drive marketing strategy, enhance online presence, and maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career marketing professional looking for hands-on experience across multiple marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Update website layout, visual appeal, and copy (WordPress)
- Cross-link website with LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
- Apply SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings
- Manage and update Google Business Profile
- Coordinate and execute paid advertising (PPC, social media, online directories, industry publications)
- Build and manage backlinks in collaboration with external partners
Content Creation
- Maintain and update website content (products, careers, projects)
- Capture and organize photo/video content from active projects
- Edit and publish video content, including YouTube and short-form clips
- Create and manage a content calendar (LinkedIn, YouTube, blog)
- Write blogs and press releases using marketing best practices
- Develop and execute content strategies across platforms
Project Management
- Identify and coordinate new marketing and sponsorship opportunities
- Support internal marketing initiatives across the organization
- Assist in developing and executing annual marketing strategies
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush
- Analyze social media performance (LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Use data to optimize marketing campaigns and content strategy
Traditional Marketing
- Maintain consistent branding across all materials and platforms
- Support creation of equipment decals and branded materials
- Manage promotional items and sales support materials
- Coordinate print advertising and media placements
- Assist with trade shows, job fairs, or radio ads if/when applicable
Additional Responsibilities
- Create service manuals and support documentation post-project completion
- Generate spare parts lists as requested
- Collaborate with service and project teams to improve documentation quality
- Provide clerical and administrative support across departments

- Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Canva
- Google Analytics & Search Console
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience in marketing, digital content, or related field
- Basic knowledge of SEO, web development, or analytics tools
- Manufacturing or industrial environment exposure
- AutoCAD experience is a plus
