Commercial Portfolio Analysis Intern

Intern, Commercial Portfolio Analysis

Location: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid: 4 Days On-site / 1 Day Remote)

Duration: June 1 – August 14, 2026

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

The Corporate Partner

Our Corporate Partner is a global pharmaceutical leader. They specialize in making medicines more affordable and discovering innovative treatments to satisfy unmet medical needs across diverse communities.

The Role

Joining the Specialty Pharmaceuticals (SRx) group, the intern will support projects focused on evaluating the U.S. market landscape for injectable hospital products. You will gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical sales/marketing and data-driven portfolio evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Market Mapping: Leverage data tools (IQVIA) to evaluate the injectable hospital market and map competitor portfolios.
  • Benchmarking: Compare the partner's footprint against industry standards.
  • Modeling: Develop Excel frameworks for market analysis and wireframes for future dashboards.
  • Strategy: Prepare a final presentation identifying 3-5 growth areas for the commercial portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Education: Current Junior (Class of 2027) pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong quantitative skills; robust Excel modeling and PowerPoint ability.
  • Requirements: Must be a Pell Grant Recipient for the current academic year.

  1. Verify Pell Grant Status: Submit a screenshot of the Pell Grant section from your Financial Aid portal for the current school year. You may black out dollar amounts.
  2. Submit Documentation: Send the screenshot and your resume (saved as a PDF) via Handshake message or to kevin.nicholas@lifesciencecares.org.
  3. Virtual Intro Meeting: Once verified, you will be invited to a 30-35 minute video call to learn more about the Project Onramp program and share your background. This is a preliminary step before corporate partner interviews.
