Job Description and Key Responsibilities

 

Job Description:

This position will support the retail sales team, specifically focusing on Home + Apothecary categories, in the development and execution of marketing initiatives aimed at driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across both categories.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including partnerships (with real estate agents and interior designers) and collaborations, and promotional channels
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends, target audiences, and growth opportunities such as a gift concierge program and corporate gifting.
  • Help plan and execute Home + Apothecary campaigns across multiple channels (digital, email, partnerships, events, and social) with a focus on measurable outcomes
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve conversion and ROI
  • Assist in building and managing a pipeline of prospective partners to support growth initiatives (i.e., real estate stagers, interior designers, those responsible for corporate gifting)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business objectives and revenue targets
  • Support the creation of marketing materials and messaging that drive customer engagement and conversion

 

Qualifications:

  • Current college student or recent graduate interested in (and coursework pursuant to) marketing, sales, business development, or growth strategy
  • Strong interest in understanding how sales and marketing drive revenue and business performance
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make recommendations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and take initiative on growth opportunities
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (email, paid media, partnerships, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong interest in interior design, home goods, beauty, or consumer brands is a plus
