Physical Therapist Assistant


Columbus Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover, improve mobility, and achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current (or eligible) PTA license in the state of Nebraska
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for helping patients improve their quality of life
  • Ability to work in a team-focused, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and guide patients through prescribed exercises
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and overall wellness
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care

  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
