Powder Coat Technician

 

 

POWDER COAT TECHNICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY:

American Engineering & Metalworking (AEM) has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, 1st Shift Powder Coat Technician. Requirements of daily responsibilities are loading/unloading the powder coat line, running the spray operation, assisting throughout the shop where needed. Other areas where this position may be helping is in loading/unloading CNC machinery, grinding, taping products and other miscellaneous tasks. 

 

Ideal candidates have experience handling chemicals, operating forklifts, and powder coating experience. Ideal candidates also are able to work on their own, have strong organizational skills and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Load/Unload Powder Coat Line
  • Run spray operation of powder coat
  • Load and unload materials using a forklift
  • Assist where needed throughout the facility
  • Packaging products
  • Meet safety, quality, and productivity expectations

 

Ideal Experience

  • Chemical Handling
  • Knowledge of powder application products and handling
  • Forklift and machine operation

 

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs
  • Ability to work on your feet for a complete shift
  • Ability to work in an environment that can reach over 100 degrees in the summer
  • Ability to handle a fast pace environment that changes daily
