Business Development Intern
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and coachable Summer Intern to support our business development and recruiting efforts. This role combines research, outreach, and communication, providing hands-on experience in sales, recruiting, and professional services.
The intern will play a key role in building pipeline by identifying qualified candidates and prospective clients, and initiating conversations to schedule meetings for our Recruiting Managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in sales, recruiting, or business development who wants real-world experience and the opportunity to develop high-value communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential candidates for open positions
- Build targeted lists of prospective client companies and hiring managers
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and tracking systems
Outreach & Cold Calling
- Conduct outbound calls to candidates and prospective clients
- Introduce Veritas Recruiting Group and communicate our value proposition
- Engage prospects in professional conversations to uncover interest and needs
Meeting Coordination
- Schedule phone and video meetings for Recruiting Managers
- Ensure meetings meet defined qualification criteria
- Follow up with prospects to confirm attendance
