Learning Assistant II
Valencia College is now hiring four Learning Assistant II (Tutors) to join the Learning Support Center tutoring team at the Lake Nona Campus. This position will be supporting students with Math and/or Science.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Successfully completed one or more of the following courses
- Chemistry: Chemistry in Everyday Life, Introduction to General Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II
- Math: Developmental Math, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Liberal Arts Mathematics I/II (or Mathematical Thinking or Mathematics in Context), Statistical Methods

Additional Information:
- This position operates in a Primarily On-Site environment with the possibility of occasional virtual meeting/training components.
- This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute 295.07(5)(a), F.S.
