Your Impact on the Team

As a Corrections Nurse, you provide essential care within our facilities. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Patient Care: Checking ailments, making nursing diagnoses, and referring patients to doctors.
  • Treatments: Giving medications and checking how well they work.
  • Teaching: Sharing health tips with staff and patients to keep everyone safe.
  • Teamwork: Working with a steady crew to keep the medical unit running smoothly.

Schedule Information

Our facilities run 24/7, providing 365-day care. While your specific hours will be determined upon hire, our standard shifts are:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Alternative schedules may be available based on need.
  • Please note: This position is fully on-site (no telework).

Requirements to Apply

  • Licensure: Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • New Grads: You can apply if you are within 60 days of graduating! You just need your permit or license by your start date.
  • Permits: If you have a temporary permit, you must get your full RN license within one year.
  • Training: You will complete basic training in Elizabethtown, PA.
  • Residency: The PA residency requirement is currently waived.
