Front Desk Receptionist

We are looking for a front desk receptionist and optometrist assistant

Part time opportunities - temporary or permanent option

 

Responsibilities

-Performing a variety of front desk activities such as answering the phone, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, obtaining and verifying insurance information, prepping patient charts, and collecting any co-pays, deductibles, and balances.
-Assisting patients in choosing appropriate frames, determining the price of glasses or contacts with their insurance, and submitting frame and contact lens orders.
-Become familiar with both the practice management system and electronic health record system.
-Obtaining auto-refractions, fundus photos, and other images
-Additional duties may include repairing frames, adjusting patients' glasses, filing patient records, ordering contact lens trials for the office stock, and maintaining a clean and neat frame board.
-Experience is not needed but is a plus!! We are happy to train! 

-Spanish as a second language is not required but would be helpful.
