BI and Analytics Intern

Title: Business Intelligence & Analytics Intern

You will enjoy coming to work and have success if you understand, want to and have the capacity to do the following processes:

  1. Data Analysis: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from our warehouse.
  2. BI Development: Assist in building and maintaining live dashboards (Power BI) and reports.
  3. Exploratory Research: Support exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and process improvements.
  4. Documentation: Help document data definitions, metrics, and reporting logic for long-term reusability.
  5. Collaboration: Participate in daily team standups and present final project outcomes to BIA leadership.
  6. Other duties as assigned

 

 You will feel equipped if you have experience with or ability to: 

  • Current undergraduate junior/senior or graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, MIS, or a related field.
  • Strong coursework or practical experience with SQL.
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical problem-solving.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with Python or other programming languages.
  • Exposure to BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of GitHub for version control.
  • Interest in the Supply Chain or Logistics industry.
