Position Overview

We are looking for a caring, dependable Early Childhood Teaching Assistant to support our lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom environment for children ages 12 months through Pre-K.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and routines
• Assist with supervision of children during play, meals, rest, and transitions
• Help prepare and organize materials for lessons and activities
• Foster a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Support children’s social-emotional development through positive interactions
• Communicate respectfully with staff and families as needed

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children (preferred)
• Passion for early childhood education and child development
• Warm, patient, and flexible demeanor
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Must meet state licensing requirements (or willingness to obtain)
