Summer Intern — Real Estate Investments & Asset Management
This internship offers a motivated student the chance to gain hands-on exposure to the full real estate investment and asset management process. You will work directly with our Executive Vice President across all facets of our business — from sourcing new opportunities and running financial analyses to supporting day-to-day portfolio management. In a small office environment, you will contribute meaningfully from day one.
A significant and exciting part of this role will be leading the research, planning, and implementation of AI tools — specifically Anthropic's Claude — into Treecrest's daily operations. We are actively integrating AI across our workflows, and the intern will play a hands-on role in shaping how we use these technologies to improve efficiency, research, and decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Research new markets, sectors, and investment opportunities to support deal sourcing and pipeline development
– Build and run analyses using our in-house modeling software to evaluate potential acquisitions and existing assets
– Lead research, planning, and implementation of AI tools into daily business operations
– Assist with portfolio management, including tracking performance metrics and preparing investor reporting
– Support compliance requirements for the portfolio
– Collaborate with team members across finance, operations, and asset management
– Provide administrative support across day-to-day office functions in a lean, fast-moving environment
