Qualifications
- Minimum BA in Mathematics or Education, required
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification, required
- Special Education Certification, preferred
- Prior experience working with children with special needs, preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality math instruction
- Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Use formal and informal assessments to monitor student growth
- Foster a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Teach and reinforce social skills within the homeroom setting
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and leadership
- Participate in professional development focused on autism and best practices
- Support school events and community-building activities
- Maintain responsibility for classroom materials and equipment
- Attend meetings, professional workdays, and school functions as required
