Navy Reserve Supply Officer
The Navy Reserve Supply Corps Officer program offers a unique opportunity to serve your country while pursuing your civilian career or continuing your education. Supply Corps Officers are essential leaders responsible for managing the Navy’s logistics, supply chains, and financial operations. This role provides hands-on experience in planning, procurement, inventory management, contracting, and distribution, while developing leadership and decision-making skills that are highly valued in both military and civilian careers.
Key Responsibilities & Skills You’ll Develop:
• Leadership: Lead and mentor Sailors, manage teams, and make mission-critical decisions
• Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Oversee inventory, procurement, and distribution operations
• Financial & Contract Management: Plan and execute budgets, contracts, and resource allocation
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Evaluate data, optimize processes, and support operational readiness
• Communication & Collaboration: Work with diverse teams and coordinate across departments
Who We’re Looking For:
• U.S. citizens, 19–42 years old (age waivers possible with qualifying prior service)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (GPA ≥ 2.5 preferred)
• Background or interest in business, finance, logistics, supply chain management, or leadership roles
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Strong leadership potential and a commitment to teamwork and service
Training & Professional Development:
Officers complete required Navy officer training, followed by the Supply Corps Basic Qualification Course, which prepares you to lead effectively in the Navy Reserve. You’ll also gain mentorship, hands-on training, and networking opportunities with experienced professionals.
