Mine Geologist Intern

Summer 2026 Mining Geology Internship

Location: Southeast Alaska Mine 

Fly In, Fly Out with Camp Housing and an Onsite Cook

Dates: June - September 

Pay: $20/hr with $150 per diem on travel days

General Duties:

1. Learn from and assist Core Logging Geologist with moving,
   measuring, and photographing diamond drill core
    
2. Support a variety of other core shed tasks with the goal to
   develop technical skills
    
3. Get exposure to the mining industry and network with
   experienced geologists in various roles

Open to second and third-year geology students! A great opportunity to get an introduction to the hard-rock mining industry.
