Job Description:

Little Explorers Child Care Center is hiring part-time staff for Fall 2026 at our Ghent location and our brand-new Minneota center!

This is a great opportunity for college students looking for a flexible job while gaining hands-on experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

You will be part of a fun, supportive, and family-oriented team while making a meaningful impact on children and families every day.

Positions Available:

  • Part-Time Teachers
  • Assistant Teachers
  • Classroom Aides
  • After School Teacher (working with Kindergarten–12 years)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with children in a safe, nurturing environment
  • Assist with daily routines (meals, activities, transitions)
  • Support learning through play and hands-on experiences
  • Communicate with staff and families professionally
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Qualifications:

  • Must enjoy working with children
  • Reliable, responsible, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Relevant coursework or experience preferred but not required for aides

Preferred Majors:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Elementary Education
  • Nursing
  • Human Development
  • Psychology or related fields
  • Or anyone who loves working with kids!
