We are currently hiring Paraprofessionals to support students in our specialized, non-public charter school serving Preschool through 8th grade.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers and school leadership to support students in both educational and daily living activities. No two days are the same—and that’s part of what makes this work so rewarding.
You will:
- Support students in small groups or one-on-one learning environments
- Reinforce classroom instruction and help maintain a positive learning space
- Assist with daily living needs such as feeding, hygiene, and mobility (training provided)
- Follow individualized education and behavior plans
- Monitor student behavior and provide support when needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to prepare materials and track student progress
- Help ensure a safe, respectful, and structured classroom environment

- Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and strong ethical standards
What You’ll Need
- Associate’s Degree, High School Diploma, or Paraprofessional Aide Permit
- Ability (or willingness to obtain) an Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce
- Experience working with students with special needs is preferred
You’ll also need to:
- Complete required training (e.g., bloodborne pathogens, de-escalation, ethics)
- Pass background requirements for school employment
- Be comfortable supporting students with medical and developmental needs (training provided)
Work Environment & Expectations
This is an active, hands-on role. You may:
- Stand, walk, bend, or assist students throughout the day
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Support students who may display behavioral challenges
